About ME
Hi, I’m Maria Diamond. A lot of what drew me to design started with video games. Getting my first console, a PlayStation 1, at eight years old sparked a fascination with digital experiences and the way people interact with them. I wanted to understand how things worked, how different pieces came together, and what made an experience feel satisfying to use. That curiosity and instinct to figure things out has stayed with me ever since.
Today, I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a background in product design, visual design, and UX/UI design. I’m drawn to the messy part of design where the idea is still taking shape and there’s room to explore, question, and figure things out. I enjoy taking something that’s rough around the edges and working through the details until it becomes something clear and purposeful. My work has taken me from early concepts and wireframes through design, development, and launch, giving me a perspective that connects how something looks with how it actually works.
